The deepest secrets of Andrew Tate released
British-American online influencer Andrew Tate, his brother Tristan, and two Romanian women named Georgiana Naghe and Luana Radu, were arrested in December 2022 as part of a human trafficking investigation in Romania. Court documents seen by Reuters reveal that the group is accused of transforming six women “into slaves” and forcing them to make pornographic content for the OnlyFans platform. One of the alleged victims, a Moldovan woman, was reportedly raped twice by Andrew Tate.
The prosecutor’s file, a 61-page document, includes transcripts of WhatsApp conversations between Andrew Tate and the Moldovan woman, in which he told her “once you are mine, you will be mine forever.” The file also alleges that another woman, an American, was lured to Romania after Tate expressed false feelings for her and promised to help her make $100,000 a month on OnlyFans. She claimed that upon arrival at the Tate’s Bucharest compound, she was not allowed to leave without permission, and there were cameras all over the house.
The Romanian prosecutors have stated that Andrew Tate used the “loverboy” strategy to manipulate women, a common feature of a type of human trafficking. The bodyguard of the brothers, Bogdan Stancu, told the BBC in January that some of the women around Tate thought they would marry him, seemingly describing the tactics Tate is accused of.
Andrew Tate’s brother’s attorney, Eugen Vidineac, has claimed that the sex between Andrew Tate and the Moldovan woman was consensual and that the alleged victims “lived off the backs of the famous Tates” and “were joyful and nobody was forcing them to do these things.” He also stated that the American woman had access to her mobile phone and was able to leave whenever she wanted.
Andrew Tate, Tristan Tate, Naghe, and Radu deny the allegations against them and are set to remain in pretrial detention until the end of February 2023. The Romanian prosecutors have accused the group of forming a criminal organization, manipulating women, and forcing them into making pornographic content. The court documents and the transcripts of the WhatsApp conversations provide evidence for the allegations, and the case is ongoing.
